I studied archaeology, ancient and medieval history,  and religious studies in university. 

I hold Bachelor of Arts and Master degrees.

I have worked as a castle guide and take part in living history encampments and events.

I am a fully qualified teacher and currently part-time university lecturer, used to working with large groups of pupils, students and adults. 

I am also an adept swordsman with the use of Italian longsword.

I and members of my company are fully DBS checked and public liability insured.

Working as  'costume historians' our presentations are as historically authentic as possible  and pointed weapons are only used in controlled weapon  displays or presentations.

I will leave you to make up your mind about fairies. 

Only blunt weapons may be handled by members of an audience under strict supervision.

In all primary and secondary school displays a lockable base must be available for the storage of  props and swords during a visit.

All fees are payable within seven days of any event or presentation.
